Welcome to Kaangu. By booking our services or using our website www.kaangu.com, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing a booking.

Kaangu provides professional property services including cleaning, handyman work, maintenance, and repairs across London.

Services Provided

Kaangu offers a range of property-related services including (but not limited to):

  • Deep cleaning and end-of-tenancy cleaning

  • Carpet and upholstery cleaning

  • Handyman and maintenance repairs

  • Painting, decorating, and resealing

  • Window and gutter cleaning

  • Property support for short-term rentals and landlords

All services are provided subject to availability and may vary based on the property’s condition and size.

 

Bookings and Confirmations

3.1 All bookings must be made through our website, by email, or by phone.
3.2 Bookings are confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Kaangu (via email or message).
3.3 Minimum charge: 1 hour per booking.
3.4 Access to the property must be arranged in advance. If our team is unable to gain entry, a call-out fee or partial charge may apply.

 

Prices and Payments

4.1 All quoted prices are exclusive of materials, parking fees, and congestion charges (if applicable).
4.2 Payments can be made via bank transfer, card, or invoice upon completion.
4.3 For larger projects, a deposit or advance payment may be required.
4.4 Late payments may incur additional fees.

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before your booking.
5.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be charged 50% of the booking cost.
5.3 If our team arrives and cannot access the property or the client is unavailable, a full call-out fee may be charged.

 

Access and Safety

6.1 The client is responsible for ensuring safe access to the property.
6.2 Kaangu reserves the right to refuse or cancel service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or unsuitable.
6.3 Clients must ensure electricity, water, and lighting are available at the property for work to be carried out.

 

Liability

7.1 Kaangu takes great care in performing all services, but we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear in the property or items.

  • Damage caused by faulty materials, poor installation, or hidden defects.

  • Indirect losses or consequential damages.
    7.2 In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, please report it immediately (within 24 hours of service completion).
    7.3 Kaangu holds public liability insurance for all work undertaken.

 

Satisfaction Guarantee

8.1 If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify us within 24 hours. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.
8.2 Refunds or re-cleans are assessed on a case-by-case basis at Kaangu’s discretion.

 

Materials and Equipment

9.1 Unless agreed otherwise, Kaangu provides all necessary tools and cleaning products.
9.2 If clients supply their own materials, Kaangu is not responsible for any resulting damage or substandard outcomes.

 

Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any personal data shared with Kaangu is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

 

Amendments

Kaangu reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
